Last week under cloak of darkness, the US Senate defeated a bill that would have temporarily banned earmarks in the federal budget. Our Georgia Senators did the right thing and voted for the earmark moratorium.

No Mutually Acceptable Tax Relief Plan for Georgians in Sight Yet

House Speaker Richardson’s HR 1246 is stalled in the State Senate. Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle offered up his version of tax reform (state income tax gradual cut).  The Governor has his own ideas in mind, which don’t include either of the above.

Please encourage your state legislators to work together to offer tax relief for Georgia. The gridlock game is costing Georgians money.
