This week, the president actually said the nation is “waiting for [Washington] to act” on the health care issue. This is arrogance and political posturing at its worst. Like us, the president knows the truth. Every reputable public opinion poll for months has clear majorities of the American people saying “NO” to the health care “reform” coming out of Washington, D.C.

Now is the time to finish the job of protecting this most personal freedom by stopping the Democrats’ Washington takeover of our health care in the U.S. House of Representatives.

As I write this, the snow of our second blizzard-like storm of the week is piling up outside.

Ironically, President Obama picked this week to announce the formation of a new global warming bureaucracy within the Department of Commerce. The news conference announcing this new "climate service" had to be canceled due to our D.C. area blizzard.

Today AFP blasted the White House for quietly removing the estimated cap-and-trade “climate revenues” that it showed in its 2010 budget from the new 2011 blueprint, while remaining committed to enacting an expensive cap-and-trade energy tax.
