Today, our sister organization, Americans for Prosperity Foundation participated in a nation-wide celebration of Nobel Laureate Milton Friedman.

Dr. Friedman dedicated his life's work to the principles of individual liberty and economic freedom and was also a vocal proponent of school choice in education.

To celebrate Dr. Friedman's legacy, AFPF held a luncheon event in Teaneck which included Veronique de Rugy, senior fellow of the Mercatus Institute at George Mason University, as keynote speaker.

Mrs. de Rugy gave a timely address on the federal budget and the current economic crisis.

In addition, state Senator Mike Doherty joined us and gave a an educational presentation regarding school funding in New Jersey.

Here are some pictures from today's event.
