Last week we kicked off our Impact Arkansas Tour with Prosperity 101 trainings around the state. After distributing Part 1 of our state budget analysis to our elected officials we joined forces with American Majority to help empower conservative grassroots efforts throughout Arkansas.

This week Congress is pushing for another round of spending to “stimulate” the economy.

A Jobs Bill is what they have called the latest legislation filled with pork barrel spending projects. After voting to make the amount of money the government can borrow almost limitless ($1.9 trillion), they now want to spend more money to “stimulate” the economy.

People across the state came together last evening for AFP's State of the Union (SOTU) watch parties in Hot Springs, Fort Smith, and Rogers, and we are proud that Hot Springs served as the anchor event for the national pre-SOTU webcast which had over 10,000 computers streaming the event.
