AFP-VA Hits The Road On 5th District "Sick of Spending" Tour

This past week, Americans for Prosperity's Virginia chapter hit the road in the Fifth Congressional District shedding light on Congressman Tom Perriello's voting record, a record that doesn't coincide with the popular opinion of fiscally conservative voters in the Fifth. The tour began early Thursday morning with many supporters showing up for a sign wave beside a busy intersection in Charlottesville. After that, volunteers went door to door across the district educating voters on Congressman Perriello's votes on health care, cap & trade, and corporate bailouts. The tour concluded on Friday afternoon with a town hall meeting in Danville, where an overflowing room of AFP-VA supporters listened to state director Ben Marchi and Delegate Danny Marshall speak about cutting spending and getting our Congressional representatives back on track.
