People just like you all over the state spoke up consistently, politely and firmly that they wanted our state sovereignty protected from the intrusion of the Federal government! The Missouri General Assembly has responded by placing on the August ballot the Health Care Freedom Act.

Big government advocates have no problem with federal intrusion on state sovereignty. I'm confident that "We the People" will let Washington and their big government supporters know in August that they have gone too far.

Legislative leaders Senator Jane Cunningham and Representative Tim Jones along with Lt Governor Peter Kinder held a press conference today discussing the issue.
