Dear Members,

I would like to thank everyone for your commitment to staying informed and involved with AFP North Carolina. Our membership and activists have grown tremendously over the past year. Everyone's support and dedication to AFP has made possible the incredible strides we have seen in North Carolina.

It is a busy time in Raleigh. This week the NC State Senate will pass House Bill 129, the Level Playing Field, stopping North Carolina towns and cities from starting government run cable and tv operations. This is an important AFP piece of legislation and we are thrilled with its passage.
Legislation is also advancing to reform annexation laws, end emminant domain abuse and support more school choice.

Please continue our fight for liberty and prosperity in North Carolina by spreading our message with your friends and neighbors. One of the most effective ways to help is to join our social networks on facebook and twitter. Since the beginning of 2011, we have seen members' comments and discussions on facebook and twitter that have helped shape our outreach efforts.
