Americans for Prosperity California will be in Santa Clarita on Thursday, April 21, during Governor Jerry Brown’s visit. As part of AFP’s “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous on a Government Pension” tour, State Director David Spady will arrive in a white stretch limousine emblazoned with the “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” logo. Spady will educate the public about the lavish pensions bankrupting the state and forcing government to cut basic services and layoff current employees.

“California faces a half-trillion dollar pension crisis that Governor Brown and legislators aren’t taking seriously,” stated State Director David Spady. “There are over 16,000 government employees taking home a pension that exceeds $100,000—and that number is growing every year. We simply cannot sustain this level of spending.”
