Breaking News: State Senate to consider Health Care
Freedom Act Today

Join other AFP activists in North Carolina by telling the legislature to pass the “North Carolina Health Care Freedom Act” immediately! Click here to tell your legislator to support House Bill 2 now!

The Senate is also debating a moratorium on forced annexation. Please click here to support this critical law to protect private property.

Another important bill the North Carolina General Assembly is debating is SB 33 which lowers health care costs in North Carolina by reforming Medical Liability laws in our state.

Americans for Prosperity supports Senate Bill 33 because it will lower costs to taxpayers and patients by reforming our court system which favors greedy trial lawyers over doctors, nurses, and patients. I ask you to contact your lawmakers today and urge them to support Senate Bill 33.

On the education front, legislation is moving to expand charter school options in North Carolina. But we still need you to take action to tell your lawmaker to remove the charter school cap now! Click here to take action.

North Carolina’s JWP Civitas Institute’s educational seminar- The Free Market Academy

The Academy is a common-sense workshop offered to North Carolina citizens interested in advancing free market principles in government, economics, and society. The workshop will explore the true fundamentals of the market economy and leave attendees with a solid understanding of why free enterprise is the only foundation for economic growth and job creation. Knowledge is the key to advancing the free market ideas we believe in! Cost is $5.00.
