Over the past week or so, Tea Party patriots have flocked to Massachusetts to work on State Senator Scott Brown's effort to be elected to the United States Senate. With Brown's apparent victory, (and before any post-election shenanigans), the power of the grassroots has again been revealed. Tea Party volunteers, paying their own way, stood up strong against the paid government union and other paid campaign operatives and once again showed that passion can be a greater motivator then a paycheck.

For Oregonians, currently being outspent more than 4 - 1 by government unions in the Measure 66/67 election battle, Massachusetts provides both a roadmap and a call to arms. When the grassroots gets after it, it can be unstoppable. If you have yet to make your passion heard in this election, you now have only a week to make a difference. The need now is for people to assist with phone calls to get out our vote.
